Rainiers “Greatest Hits”

Who knew we were making a platinum album?  I was very pleased to walk away with a silver American Advertising Award (ADDY) in the 12A Flat Mail category, especially since this was the first time we submitted any entries for judging.

We also picked up a 2013 Marketing Award with our printer, Print NW, in the Graphic Arts category for Best Custom Packaging.

This piece was a homage to the look and feel of vintage vinyl, with the cover taking its cues from the Rolling Stones “Exile on Main St.” The gatefold jacket was printed inside and out, while the LP-styled booklet showcases UV-coated grooves to give the feel of a real record. The piece actually looked better after being abused by the postal service on its way to its recipients, taking on the patina of a well-loved, used record.
