Stars of Burlesque

The best projects start with something you enjoy, and I’ve always been a fan of the glamorous guys and gals that perform on the burlesque scene.  The vibrant costumes, hilarious personalities and downright sexy performers make the current trove of burlesque stars a joy to draw.

The images to the left include Lydia DeCarllo and the performing duo of Kitten LaRue and Lou Henry Hoover.  Kitten and Lou were so excited about this piece that they had me turn it into a T-Shirt that is currently being sold at their performances around the world.
